Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Sentinel Intel platform ("Service") — including the proxy network, scraper engine, and industry intelligence modules — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Sentinel Intel provides (a) residential proxy bandwidth resold from upstream providers; (b) an automated scraping engine that pivots IPs when a target flags automated traffic; (c) optional industry intelligence modules that surface publicly available municipal, weather, and permit data.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Access any system, account, or data you are not authorized to access, in violation of the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), or equivalent laws.
• Scrape non-public data behind authentication walls, paywalls, or that carries clickwrap Terms of Service prohibiting automated access.
• Circumvent Personally Identifiable Information (PII) protections including but not limited to insurance claims databases, driver records, or health records (GLBA, HIPAA, DPPA).
• Send spam, phishing content, malware, or engage in credential stuffing.
• Perform any activity that violates state, federal, or international law.

Sentinel Intel reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account we believe is violating this section, without refund.

4. Public Data & Claim Signals

Our "Roofing Intelligence" and "Plumbing Module" ingest data exclusively from publicly-published sources (NOAA/IEM storm reports, municipal open-data permit registries, and public parcel APIs such as Regrid where authorized). The "Claim Signal Score" is a legally-inferred probability calculation based on public correlation of hail events and permit filings; it is not a claim record and no representation is made that any specific insurance claim exists.

5. Bandwidth & Billing

Bandwidth is sold pay-as-you-go. Purchased gigabytes never expire, are non-refundable once consumed, and are debited against your account as scraping jobs complete. Prices displayed at checkout are final; taxes are added where required by law. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. under Stripe's own terms.

6. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at legal@sintinelintel.net of any unauthorized access. We use httpOnly cookies for session tokens and do not persist your password.

7. Third-Party Providers

The Service routes traffic through upstream residential proxy providers (e.g., BrightData, Oxylabs, Smartproxy). Their networks are subject to their own acceptable-use policies which are hereby incorporated by reference. Weather, permit, and parcel data are provided AS-IS by their respective owners.

8. Warranties & Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentinel Intel's aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the ninety (90) days preceding the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and remaining prepaid bandwidth is forfeit if termination is due to your breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Bexar County, Texas.
